The Service
Thruact is a capability-first gateway for AI agents. You name a job. We route a provider and may fail over on 429, 5xx, or timeout. We do not fail over on a bad request.
The public scanner runs live calls you can trigger yourself, such as Force a failover. Those runs are labelled as demonstrations and are not counted as organic traffic.
Account
You must keep tokens secret. Sign-in is GitHub, Google, or a token you mint under Settings → Tokens. POST /v1/bootstrap is closed. You are responsible for calls made with your tokens.
Free beta
During the free beta, calls are not charged. Catalogue prices are informational: what a call will cost when billing is on. We may change or end the beta.
Billing (when enabled)
- Prepaid wallet, topped up via Stripe.
- Failed calls are not charged. A hold is released; it is not a refund you request after the fact.
- Successful technical completion is billed even if you dislike the result.
- BYO keys in the vault: those calls are not billed by us for the upstream tool; you remain responsible to that vendor.
Refunds
Wallet top-ups are generally non-refundable once available in the wallet, except where required by UAE consumer law, where Stripe fails to deliver a completed payment, or where we charged you in error (for example a call that technically failed but was marked success). Email info@thruact.com. We may refund the wallet or reverse the Stripe charge at our discretion where the charge was our error. Unused wallet balance is not cash unless required by law.
Acceptable use
No abuse, scraping our Service to clone it, attacking providers through us, illegal content, or circumventing rate limits. We may suspend tokens and accounts.
Your content and keys
You retain rights to inputs you send. You grant us a licence to process them to provide the Service. Vault keys are yours; we inject them only to fulfill your calls.
Availability
The Service is provided as-is during beta. We do not guarantee uptime, a particular provider, or that failover will always succeed.
Liability
To the extent permitted by UAE law as applied in Dubai, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for upstream provider outages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai (including DMCC). Courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after the date above is acceptance. Material billing changes will be posted on this page.
